Chris Bird, CFP

Chris Bird is a tax expert and national lecturer on individual income, corporate income and real estate tax issues. Dynamic and entertaining, Chris makes complex material easy to understand. His background includes over 16 years experience as an IRS agent in Springfield, Illinois serving as a field agent, a branch manager and a training director.

Chris is a Certified Financial Planner, and held an Enrolled Agent Card for more than 20 years. He has been a major contributor to the University of Illinois Tax School Manual and an instructor at their seminars held throughout the state of Illinois.

Chris has presented income tax courses to thousands of CPA’s, attorneys, and enrolled agents nationwide. He has presented preparation courses for the Enrolled Agent Examination throughout the country for many years. And he is a frequent speaker for Professional Tax and Accounting Associations nationwide.

Susan Rogers, JD, CFPSusan Rogers, JD, CFP

is an estate planning attorney with Gardiner Koch Weisberg & Wrona and heads up the estate planning division in the Naperville, IL office.

She is a graduate of Wheaton College, Wheaton, Illinois (1983) and received her law degree from Northern Illinois University, DeKalb, Illinois (1991). She also received her CFP designation in 1987 from the College of Financial Planners in Denver Colorado. She has been admitted to the Illinois Supreme Court, U. S. District Court of the Northern District in Illinois and U.S. Tax Court.

Susan was the managing partner of her law firm for 15 years and in October 2011 merged with Gardiner Koch Weisberg & Wrona headquartered in Chicago, IL. For more than 20 years, she has focused her practice of law in estate planning and tax matters. In recent years, she has been the keynote speaker at seminars on estate planning and tax matters with a diverse audience ranging from the general public to other accountants and financial planners.
